It’s been one year since we lost 10 innocent lives in a hate-fueled act of gun violence on Buffalo’s East Side. For them, for their families, for Buffalo and for our whole nation: we will keep fighting to end gun violence.
Speaker McCarthy needs to take a default off the table.
Republicans’ Default On America plan would cut jobs, slash benefits for seniors and veterans and weaken our economy. And if they don’t get their way, they’re willing to risk a catastrophic economic default. Democrats won’t stand for it.
That’s a strong record well worth running on. And I am confident that with four more years of @JoeBiden's leadership, we will make even greater strides that will help drive America forward and ensure a better future for our country.
Democrats worked tirelessly to address the most critical issues facing our country by passing the American Rescue Plan, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the CHIPS + Science Act, the Inflation Reduction Act, the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act and more.
We confirmed a historic number of federal judges, lowered drug costs, & created more jobs in the first two years of a presidency in a generation. All accomplishments that had long been promised by presidents before, but finally achieved under President Biden.
The first two years of the Biden administration were the most productive two years for any President and Congress in the last 50 years. We made one of the largest investments ever in infrastructure, education, and healthcare.
Together with Congressional Democrats, President Biden has delivered on the change Americans have long been demanding, from recovering and rebuilding from the COVID pandemic to rebuilding America to address the dangers of climate change and bringing jobs back to the U.S.
